Nick’s Banana Bread Bars
4 Egg Whites
1 ripe Banana
1 cup Skim Milk
1/8 tsp Hazelnut Flavoring
1/8 tsp Coconut Flavoring
1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 Serving Vanilla Protein Powder
1/4 Cup Splenda
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (I used the convection setting
so check your time)
Combine 4 egg whites, banana, milk, hazelnut, and coconut
flavoring in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, stir the dry ingredients (whole
wheat flour, cinnamon, baking powder, vanilla protein powder, and Splenda).
Slowly stir the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, until
the batter is smooth. Pour into bar baking dish or cupcake mold until each cup
is 2/3 full. Will make 12 bars or cupcakes.
Place in preheated oven and bake at 350 for 12 min. I used
to toothpick test to check doneness. (Toothpick inserted and is clean when
removed.)
